Driveless cars

In Japan, the news about self-driving car is becoming a hot topic.
Car manufacturers are vying to bring them to its market by the 2020 Tokyo Olympic.
Toyota Motor has revealed that it will throw the cars in to the market by 2020, and already tested in an expressway in Japan.
Also, Nissan Motor has planed to show the driverless cars which can run the well-designed expresway lanes to an exhibition next year.  Like Toyota, Nissan plans to operate cars on city streets by 2020.

When we think about this revolutionary change, it is also necessary to discuss the law regarding the automated cars.  It's a very hard decision.  Thinking about the future of this industry, the law should not increase restriction.  It's because car manufacturing is the heart of Japan's economy.  Japan has suceeded in the automobile industry and it has lead the economy.  However, we cannot be optimistic to this market because Silicon Valley tech companies have focused on to take the next big market which is the automated car driven by the power of software, such as Tesla, Apple and Google.

On the other hand, the problem of security and who owes the resposibility especially in the case of car accident.  The law has not been well provided.
So, the next important thing is how we regulate or decide the law.
